Can I explain to you creationists what a scientific theory is?

I love reading about evolution. After a lot of study, I agree with Karl Popper. He said that evolution wasn't a theory. It isn't even a hypothesis. It's a metaphysical research program. I believe that it isn't science, and is actually anti-science. Hopefully someday soon we can rescue science from evolutionism and let the evidence lead wherever it may.
