I have 97 GMC Jimmy and have had the fuel pump replaced 3 times and it still acts like its not getting gas.?

Sounds like its out of time but its not. It dies going down the road at times and u gotta keep ur foot on the gas when it starts acting up. When ya take the gas cap off it has alot of pressure and sounds like air in the lines. What could this be?
