Am i of viking decent?

If you have been doing family research they you are aware that you will never get back more than 500-600 years if the records in the particular county are of use for and in enough detail to prove ancestry..........and you can't assume anything from your looks,colouring, height.nor will you find out whether you come from Vikings or not apart from doing a DNA test.......i think it was yesterday or Friday there was a history programme on TV ( About Britian I think...it is a regular one) where they were doing tests on isolated Scottish Islands as their ancestry is generally not mixed even with the reast of the UK...the results were from two different Viking 'clans' as well as picts from the Islands...so that would be an option..................................…
