How to check and reset the timing on a 1994 ford f150?

94 ford f150 5.0 2wd p/u truck with dual gas tanks. crank no start issue. have checked almost everything that could possibly cause this problem (there is fuel at the schrader valve and its of adequate amount, there is compression and spark and the battery is good the distributor cap and rotor button are good or new, the ignition control module (TFI) has been replaced. Im leaning towards jumped timing. How do I check to see if the timing is off and how do I reset the timing in the event it is off? thanks.
