Question about kajukenbo?

I'm no expert, but judging from the names, I supposed they are named after the martial art style which influenced those forms. From what I understand, Kajukenbo was developed by a group of Hawaiian Kung Fu practitioners who contributed their expertise in their respective styles to create a hybrid style. Gung Fu or Kung Fu as you know which meant a" well trained skill", was the popular term for Chinese martial arts during the 70s, "Sil Lum Pai" is Cantonese for Shaolin Fist, while "Hung Gar Gung Fu" is Cantonese for Hung Family Kung Fu. The names Sil Lum Pai, Gung Fu, and Hung Gar reflected the Chinese influence in Kajukenbo's development since these are Chinese terms for different schools of Chinese martial arts that the founders studied and I assume the dances are named so to honor these roots.
