Science versus religion, which side are you on, and which side should America be on?

I don't see a conflict. I believe in biological science and Darwinian evolution by means of natural selection. I also believe in the book of Genesis. One order of truth is scientific; the other is moral, mythical, and metaphysical. I don't see why you should have to choose one or the other, though for me the Genesis story is the more important of the two. Evolutionary science merely tells us how we evolved; the Book of Genesis tells us where we came from and how we ought to live.
